Job summary

77 Consultants in Kentucky seeks an on-call interventional cardiologist to cover inpatient services. Availability is 3-7 days per month with 24-hour shifts from 7 AM to 7 AM. Must be board-certified and hold an active Kentucky medical license and DEA registration. ACLS is required, and vaccination is preferred.

Teams include two interventional cardiologists; collaboration will be available during coverage. Epic Cupid is the documentation system used for patient records.

Qualifications

• Board-certified cardiologist.

• ACLS certification required.
• COVID vaccination preferred.
• IMLC may be considered for candidates with 3-7 days/month availability.

Responsibilities

• Respond to all cardiology-related calls within the hospital.
• Conduct general cardiology consultations as required.
• Interpret diagnostic studies, including EKGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests (including nuclear stress tests).
• Support 24-hour on-call coverage from 7 AM to 7 AM, 3-7 days monthly.
• Collaborate with other interventional cardiologists as needed.

• Average Patient Load: No ambulatory patients; focus solely on inpatient cases
• Interventional Cardiology Group Size: 2 interventional cardiologists
• Collaboration: Other interventional cardiologists will be available during coverage
