Job summary

Northeast Healthcare Recruitment seeks a Board-Certified Interventional Cardiology Physician for locum tenens coverage in Paducah, Kentucky. The physician will provide inpatient interventional and general cardiology services, respond to hospital cardiology calls, and interpret diagnostic studies for an adult population.

Schedule includes 24-hour call shifts, 3-7 days per month, with weekend and on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology.
• Active Kentucky medical license.
• ACLS certification.
• Active DEA registration.

Responsibilities

• Respond to all cardiology calls for the hospital.
• Provide inpatient interventional and general cardiology consultations as needed.
• Perform balloon angioplasty, coronary angioplasty, PCI, cardiac catheterizations, and coronary angiograms.
• Interpret EKGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests, including nuclear stress studies.
• Coordinate with hospital teams to support timely evaluation and treatment of cardiac patients.
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic Cupid.
