Odyssey Locums is seeking a Cardiology/Internal Medicine interventional cardiology locum to provide inpatient coverage in Fargo, ND. The role includes 9-hour day shifts with night call, weekdays and weekends, with EP coverage on select periods.

Credentialing is streamlined and housing/travel are provided. Candidates must have TEE experience and be out of fellowship, currently practicing independently for at least one year.

• Cover cardiology inpatient service on weekdays with inpatient APC.

• Weekends cover General and EP Cardiology service including inpatient caths and STEMIs.
• EP coverage included for urgent inpatient assistance on weekends and weeknights.

The Role:

• Location: Fargo, ND 58103-6132
• Assignment duration: 1/1/2027 - Ongoing
• Coverage Needed: 10 Days/Month
• Shift Type: 9-hour regular day plus night call
• Call: Provider will hold the pager for the full duration of their assignment (scheduled as a 9-hour regular day plus night call).
• Cases: Weekdays cover cardiology inpatient service with an inpatient APC. Weeknight (Mon-Fri) call covers urgent inpatient caths, temporary pacemakers, STEMIs, stat echos, and EP calls. Weekends cover General and EP Cardiology hospital service, including inpatient caths, STEMIs, and stat echos. EP coverage is included for urgent inpatient assistance on weekends and weeknights; weekdays are handled by an EP cardiologist.
• Required skills/experience: TEE required; must be out of fellowship and practicing independently for at least one year.
• Patient Encounters Per Shift: 15 average
• Credentialing Timeframe: 45-120 days
