Job description

Our client is seeking a Regional Medical Director for the Chicagoland area! This leadership role involves managing anesthesiologists, participating in facility initiatives, and clinical work, among other key responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive anesthesia career and proven leadership experience. The position requires collaboration with facility contacts and multiple leadership levels to ensure regional success.

The requirements include:

  1. At least 5+ years of clinical anesthesia experience
  2. Education, certification, and licensure compliant with state and national laws
  3. Over 5+ years of management experience with effective leadership skills

Key responsibilities:

  • Clinical Responsibility: 80%, managing 8 FTEs, 1 First Call per week with a Post Call Day Off, and 24 weekend call shifts per year.
  • Administrative and Non-clinical Responsibilities: 20%, including team management, contract oversight, and leadership duties.
