Newark Wellness Center, part of Alameda Health System, Newark, CA, seeks a part-time Physician II (Internal or Family Medicine) to deliver patient-centered medical services in an outpatient setting. The physician will support an administrative and clinical leadership role within a specialty service and may supervise junior physicians as needed.

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved residency in internal or family medicine.
• Current California medical license; Board Certification or Board Eligible in area of specialty.
• Valid DEA number; CPI-Crisis Prevention Intervention Training; BLS/CPR certification.

Responsabilités

• Provide professional medical services to patients in outpatient setting.
• Supervise mid-level practitioners as assigned.
• Practice evidence-based medicine and stay current with standards of care.
• Manage time and patient flow; provide cost-effective care.
• Coordinate with clinical team to improve quality of care.
• Educate patients and families on health promotion.
