Newark Wellness Center, part of Alameda Health System, seeks a part-time, Board Certified/Eligible Physician II for days at 0.80 FTE. The role is outpatient and benefits‑eligible, located in Newark, CA.

Salary is $149.52 per hour with the expectation of high-quality, patient-centered care in a diverse community. The provider will deliver comprehensive adult and pediatric primary care, obstetric and gynecologic services, and access to on-site labs, aimed at improving community health.

Qualifikationen

• Completion of an approved residency in an appropriate specialty.
• Possession of a current California medical license and Board Certification or Board Eligibility.
• Board Certification must be completed within 3 years of hire; CA Postgraduate Training License candidates may apply but must hold CA license to work.

Aufgaben

• Cares for patients in a compassionate, culturally competent, patient-centered manner.
• Supervises Mid-level Practitioners/Certified Nurse Midwives as assigned.
• Practices evidence-based medicine and stays up to date with standards of care.
• Delivers cost-effective care and manages time and patient flow effectively.
• Monitors lab results, medication refills, and radiology reports for patients.
• Collaborates with the clinical team to improve quality of care and service delivery.
• Educates patients and families, providing counseling on good health practices.
