West Virginia University Health System (SMG) - Eastern Division seeks a Hospitalist Physician to practice in Berkeley County, WV.
Responsibilities: The successful candidate will practice in Internal Medicine, providing excellent patient care and actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
Qualifications: Must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent, valid state medical license, and DEA registration by start date. Completion of an Internal Medicine residency program is required. Candidates must be board certified or eligible in Internal Medicine. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
Our Eastern Panhandle location is just over an hour from Washington, D.C., and Baltimore, MD. It offers a rural atmosphere, a lower cost of living, and easy access to major cities. The area is experiencing growth due to an influx of urban professionals, supporting telecommuting and high-tech industries.
