Job summary

Exeter Hospital is seeking a Physician Hospitalist for a per diem role. The physician will assess and manage patient care, provide oversight for clinical services, and coordinate with the practice manager. Responsibilities include on-call coverage as assigned, supervision of NP/PA staff, and active participation in quality initiatives.

The position requires MD/DO, internship/residency completion, NH license, DEA certificate, and CPR with AED. Per diem schedule and competitive hourly pay apply.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree earned from an accredited medical college/university.
• Complete internship/residency; fellowship if applicable.
• Current board certification or eligibility and NH license.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate patient care appropriate to the patient age.
• Provide safe, effective, patient-centered care aligned with Mission/Vision/Values.
• Supervise charting, charge capture and required paperwork per policy; participate in risk management.

Provides safe; effective; patient centered care.* Actively supports and works in alignment with the Mission; Vision and Values of the organization in conjunction with applicable Service Excellence initiatives.* Completes charting; charge capture; and required paperwork in a timely manner in accordance with Core's policies and guidelines by meeting or exceeding Core Physicians' minimum standards.* Night and weekend call to be shared among the clinicians as indicated within call group where applicable.* Provides oversight for clinical services at designated location/s in conjunction with the practice manager.* Provides clinical supervision to NPs; PAs or others as applicable at designated location/s.* Actively participates in business development planning and implementation.* Stays up-to-date on relevant knowledge base; incorporates new thinking and best practice models into clinical operations and procedures.* Fully participates in Core's quality and risk management program.* Fulfills specialty specific professional responsibilities.* Performs other duties as required or assigned.**Pay Range:**$155.73 – $165.87## The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time.
