Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health, Inc. seeks a Physician Hospitalist for Exeter Hospital on a per diem basis. This position provides medical services within licensing and standards of care, with night and weekend call shared within the call group.

The clinician will supervise NPs/PAs and complete charting and required paperwork per Core Physicians' policies. The ideal candidate has an MD or DO, completed residency, current NH license, board certification or eligibility, and an active DEA certificate.

Qualifications

• Completion of accredited medical college/university with MD or DO.
• Successful completion of internship/residency and fellowship if applicable.
• Current board certification/eligibility in specialty and NH license.
• Unrestricted license to practice in New Hampshire and DEA certificate.
• CPR with AED within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate patient care appropriate to patient age.
• Provide safe, effective, patient-centered care and align with organizational mission.
• Complete charting, charge capture and required paperwork per Core's standards.
• Night and weekend call shared within the call group; supervise NPs/PAs as applicable.
• Participate in business development and stay current with knowledge and best practices.

Requirements: * Completion of accredited medical college/university with Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)* Successful completion of internship residency and if applicable fellowship* Current board certification/eligibility in specialty.* If newly graduated from residency, certification must be obtained within three years of graduation.* Unrestricted license to practice in New Hampshire* Current DEA certificate without restriction* CPR with AED within 6 months of hire Major Responsibilities: * Demonstrates the ability to assess; diagnose; plan; implement and evaluate individual patient care appropriate to the age of patient served.
