Job summary

Core Physicians in Exeter, NH is seeking a Medical Assistant for the Physiatry team. The role supports clerical, clinical and business tasks under nurse or physician supervision, with a Monday–Friday schedule and a $3,000 sign-on bonus.

The position offers daily patient care duties, vital signs, vaccine administration, and front-office support in a collaborative, physician-led environment. Eligible candidates will have MA certification and BCLS within 30 days.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of medical assistant experience preferred.
• Certification as Medical Technician or MA is required.
• BCLS certification to be completed within 30 days of hire.
• BCLS within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical duties including pre-visit prep, vital signs, med reconciliation, and assisting with examinations.
• Clean, prepare and sterilize instruments; stock exam rooms for patient care.
• Respond to patient calls and portal messages following workflows.
• Administer vaccines and process prescriptions/refills per standing orders.
• Schedule tests and pre-admission appointments; provide follow-up communication.
• Support front-office tasks: check-in/out, scheduling, records, copays.
• Maintain patient records with confidentiality, safety and quality standards.
• Participate in daily huddles; support care team communication.
• Perform medical scribing duties as directed by provider.
• Monitor and support care team quality metrics and performance improvement initiatives.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while contributing to a positive and efficient patient experience.
