About this role

• Full‑time Hospitalist (days)
• Physician‑created schedule allowing time off flexibility
• Average patient census per day is 13-15
• 9 daytime rounders
• Facility: referral center for trauma and emergency services; medical‑surgical units, a 34‑bed closed ICU, a 42‑bed emergency department, and 8 operating rooms.

Position Highlights

• 1:1 Hospitalist to Nurse Coordinator. Dedicated nurse coordinator for rounding, interdisciplinary care coordination, discharging patients, family phone call updates, etc.
• Collaborative team approach to patient care. Monthly team meetings to review best practice.
• Clinical council to discuss group needs, policies, barriers.
• Strong Medical Directors leadership/support.
• Night shifts covered by nocturnist team.

What you'll bring

• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
• Residency training in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or ability to obtain one
• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing/privileging process
• Current BLS Certification required before first day of employment
