Visas Accepted H1B Specialty Internal Medicine - Hospitalist Practice Details Marshfield Medical Center – Eau Claire seeks a full-time Hospitalist that is BC/BE in Internal Medicine to join our Hospital Medicine department.
The scope of patients on the Hospitalist Service is broad ranging and includes medical consultation for surgical and non-surgical subspecialty patients, including Med Surg, ICU and step-down units. Schedule is 12-hour shifts working 7am-7pm Standard 7 on 7 off role. MMC – Eau Claire is a Trauma Level III – 56 bed hospital, 7 bed OPEN ICU. Performing procedures is not a requirement. We strongly encourage our physicians to be involved in medical education and research to continue building our strong foundation of patient care, research and education for years to come.
Located in western Wisconsin, Eau Claire, meaning French for clear waters, is located at the confluence of the Chippewa and Eau Claire Rivers, and is considered to be one of Eau Claire’s finest assets and a valuable link to the area’s heritage. The most recent investment in the arts and live music scene is the Pablo Center at the Confluence, a 1,200+ seat theatre with an approximately 400-seat flexible theatre that has three rehearsal, dance and community rooms, visual arts galleries and more. Eau Claire is home to the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and Chippewa Valley Technical College, as well as excellent public and private K-12 schools. The Adult Hospitalist Physician provides comprehensive, inpatient care for adult patients in a hospital setting. This role focuses on the management of acute and chronic medical conditions, coordination of care with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring high-quality, patient-centered outcomes throughout hospitalization.
