Job summary

ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital is seeking a Part-Time Hospitalist to join our Hospitalist group. Day shift position 7a-7p, 13 weeks per year, with a focus on preventive care and patient education across medical specialties.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Active, unrestricted medical license in applicable state(s).
• Board certification or eligibility in hospital medicine/related specialty.
• Current AHA certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS, etc.).
• Commitment to CME and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient hospitalist coverage with focus on preventive care and patient education.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and health-care teams to ensure comprehensive care.
• Work a day shift from 7a–7p as part of a part-time schedule.

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited institution in the applicable specialty.
• Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state(s) where care is provided.
• Board certified or board eligible in the relevant specialty.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) certification(s) applicable to your role (e.g., BLS, ACLS, PALS, etc.).
• Commitment to ongoing continuing medical education (CME) and professional development.
