Job description

Job Title: Physician Hospitalist at CompHealth

Join us as a Physician Hospitalist at CompHealth. This role offers a unique opportunity for physicians to work in skilled nursing facilities with flexible schedules, typically spending 2.5 to 4 hours per day on-site for rounding, documentation, and check-ins. Charting can be completed remotely, and physicians are only required to be available via phone or text during their 8-hour shifts, promoting a better work-life balance.

The position involves managing a broad spectrum of medical conditions and rehabilitation cases, with potential pathways to medical directorship and career advancement. Our team supports physicians with a strong interdisciplinary network, including a lead medical director, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and on-site coordinators.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Board certified or eligible in internal medicine or family medicine
• Experience in skilled nursing facilities in Monterey and Salinas
• Passion for working with the elderly

• Schedule: Monday - Friday, autonomous hours
• Salary: $300,000+ annually
