Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgeon for locum tenens support in Texas. Schedule: two weekends per month, Friday morning through Monday morning, with hospital rounding 8:00 AM–5:00 PM and 24-hour call. Inpatient cardiothoracic surgery and support for cardiac catheterization laboratory procedures.

Credentialing typically takes 60–90 days and emergency privileges will be requested. The EMR is switching to Epic on October 30.

Qualifications

• Active Texas medical license is required.
• Cardiothoracic surgery expertise in inpatient settings.
• Experience with cardiac catheterization laboratory support is preferred.
