Description:We are seeking a physician specializing in Hematology and Oncology for a locum tenens position.The schedule includes both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities.Providers will work in clinics during the day and be on call during evenings and weekends.On call, providers are expected to respond by phone only.Regular working hours in the clinic will be billed normally during the day.Weekend shifts require 24-hour call coverage, with no expectation for on-site response.The clinic is associated with a chemotherapy treatment center.Candidates must provide two years of inpatient case logs for privileges.Gaps in clinical activity greater than three months must be explained.All applicants should be prepared to discuss their current case logs.Temporary privileges may be pursued for candidates with clean files.This opportunity includes managing patient encounters of 12-15 per shift.
