Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a board-certified hematology/oncology physician for an outpatient assignment in California. The role involves admissions and rounding in an outpatient setting with 13 chemo chairs and 8 exam rooms, and a Monday–Friday schedule from 8 am to 5 pm.

Fellowship training is preferred. A locums-to-perm opportunity is available, with paid malpractice, pre-paid travel and housing, and access to a Weatherby consultant through the assignment.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in hematology and oncology.
• BLS certification required.
• Fellowship training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient setting with admissions and rounding.
• Manage a patient load of 25 per shift.
• 13 chemo chairs and 8 exam rooms support patient care.
• Shift schedule is Monday–Friday, 8 am–5 pm (8-hour shifts).
