Job summary

Providence Medical Group - Northern California is seeking a hematology/oncology physician for an outpatient clinic connected to our chemotherapy infusion center and hospital in California. The full-time schedule runs Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM with a 1-hour lunch.

In addition to outpatient work, you will participate in inpatient call; one week of phone-only call every three weeks and weekend 24-hour on-call coverage.

Qualifications

• CA medical license preferred; licensure in process considered.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Hematology/Oncology.
• Minimum 2 years of inpatient Hematology/Oncology experience.
• Clean malpractice history preferred and eligibility for hospital privileges.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient hematology/oncology clinic duties with 9:00–4:30 schedule, 5 days/week.
• Take inpatient call with 1 week of phone-only coverage every 3 weeks.
• Weekend 24-hour phone call coverage; no hospital call backs.
• Collaborate with infusion center and hospital staff.

Requirements
