Job summary

Fairview Health Services in Edina seeks a Hematology/Oncology Physician to join the M Health Fairview Cancer Care Center Edina. The role is a 1.0 FTE with a flexible schedule, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and participating in tumor boards and quality improvement initiatives using EPIC EMR.

The ideal candidate is board eligible/certified in hematology/oncology, licensed in Minnesota or able to obtain licensure, and commit to teaching and clinical trials within a student-friendly,

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited ACGME Hematology/Oncology fellowship-training program.
• Board eligible/certified in Hematology and Oncology.
• Licensed or ability to obtain Minnesota Board of Medical Practice Licensure.
• Ability to obtain and/or maintain DEA certification for Minnesota.
• Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges.

Responsibilities

• Join a collaborative group of physicians and APPs and participate in tumor boards and quality initiatives.
• Deliver personalized treatment plans within EPIC EMR environment.
• Engage in clinical trials and ongoing education within a patient-centered cancer program.
• Contribute to multidisciplinary teamwork and quality improvement efforts.

Fairview is seeking a Hematology/Oncology Physician to join M Health Fairview Cancer Care Center Edina. Located in the Fairview Southdale Physicians Building, our providers will work with you to develop a personalized treatment plan that meets both your medical and personal needs. Join a group of physicians interested in staying on the cutting edge of their field and participating in quality improvement committees.

Practice Details

• Join a collaborative group of 7 Physicians and 7 Advanced Practice Providers.
• Affiliated with the University of Minnesota, our community clinics provide exceptional, patient-centered care along with the ability to enroll patients in leading-edge clinical trials and participates in tumor boards.
• Openings: 1.0FTE (flexible schedule) plus shared inpatient rounding responsibilities.
• Fully integrated Electronic Medical Record (EPIC)

Qualifications
