Qualifications

• BC/BE in Anatomic Pathology by The American Board of Pathology.
• Licensed or ability to obtain Minnesota Board of Medical Practice Licensure.

Responsabilités

• Join a team of 18 Pathologists working in close collaboration with pathologists at the University of Minnesota.
• Cover frozen sections, heme bench reviews, and rapid on‑site evaluation for specimens.

Job Overview

Fairview is seeking casual Pathologists to join a growing community practice based at M Health Fairview Southdale Hospital in Edina, MN. This is a flexible, casual opportunity, ideal for physicians seeking as‑needed coverage with scheduling flexibility.

Currently Seeking

• AP Board‑certified or board‑eligible pathologist with interest or expertise in sub‑specialties. Opportunity for Breast & Gynecologic, Gastrointestinal, Hematopathology, Cytopathology and General Surgical Pathology.

Practice Details

• Join a team of 18 Pathologists working in close collaboration with pathologists at the University of Minnesota.
• Practice base: M Health Fairview Southdale or Ridges Hospital.
• Privileges at: M Health Southdale, Ridges, Northland, Lakes, St. John’s, Woodwinds, Bethesda, University of Minnesota Medical Center, and Fairview clinics.
• Areas of practice: area of subspecialty interest as well as other surgical pathology services. Covering frozen sections, heme bench reviews, rapid on‑site evaluation for specimen adequacy for surgical and cytology specimens, etc.
• Participate in the Anatomic Pathology quality management program of the community hospitals.
• Annual volumes include approximately 50,000 Surgical Pathology cases, 300 bone marrow biopsies, 4,800 GYN Cytology cases, and 5,700 non‑GYN Cytology cases.
• Fully integrated Electronic Medical Record (EPIC).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ACGME‑accredited Pathology residency training program.
• BC/BE in Anatomic Pathology by The American Board of Pathology.
• Licensed or ability to obtain Minnesota Board of Medical Practice Licensure.
• Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges.

Preferred Qualifications

• Fellowship training or equivalent experience in a surgical pathology subspecialty or transfusion medicine.

The actual rate of pay offered within this range may depend on several factors, such as FTE, skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions. Additionally, our organization values pay equity and considers the internal equity of our team when making any offer. Positions with the same min/max are flat rate jobs based on 40 hours/week. Compensation plans based on production can allow for higher pay than the range posted.
