Job summary

Michigan Heart seeks a dedicated Non-Invasive Cardiologist to expand our elite physician roster in Ann Arbor and Livonia. The ideal candidate will perform non-invasive diagnostics, with emphasis on echocardiography, and provide inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular care.

Qualifications

• MD/DO in cardiovascular disease; Board-Certified or Board-Eligible.
• Level 3 Echo preferred; Level 2 Echo considered.
• Strong collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and commitment to patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient cardiovascular care.
• Perform, oversee, and interpret non-invasive diagnostic procedures with a focus on echocardiography.
• Collaborate with primary care physicians and surgical teams at Trinity Health Ann Arbor & Livonia.
• Participate in meetings, quality improvement, and peer review.
• Share equitable night and weekend call coverage.
• Optional: engage in advanced cardiac imaging and structural heart interventions based on credentials.

Typical Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, compassionate outpatient and inpatient cardiovascular care.
• Perform, oversee, and interpret non-invasive diagnostic procedures, with a strong focus on echocardiography.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary care teams, primary care physicians, and surgical specialists at Trinity Health Ann Arbor.
• Participate in departmental meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and peer review.
• Share in equitable night and weekend call coverage responsibilities.
• Optional (for qualified candidates): Engage in advanced cardiac imaging and structural heart interventions based on interest and credentials.

Candidate Qualifications & Ideal Traits

• Credentials: MD/DO, Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease.
• Imaging Expertise: Level 3 Echo preferred; Level 2 Echo considered. Advanced imaging background is a plus.
