Trinity Health Medical Group, Cardiovascular - Grand Rapids Campus, Grand Rapids, MI, seeks an Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist to lead a new service line and advance heart failure care within the system.

The role offers teaching opportunities for residents and medical students, with a focus on high-quality, durable cardiovascular outcomes in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Advanced Heart Failure fellowship required.
• Open to new Fellows.
• Board certified in their respective clinical specialty or must achieve board certification within the timeframe defined by the applicable specialty board.
• Interventional Cardiology Fellowship.
• Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain).
• DEA license.

Responsibilities

• Establish a new Advanced Heart Failure service line within Trinity Health Grand Rapids.
• Strengthen our Heart Failure program and retain high-value cardiovascular care.
• Collaborate with residents and medical students, teaching opportunities available.

Opportunity Details

Trinity Health Grand Rapids is an active member of the Cardiovascular Network of West Michigan, along with member organizations at Trinity Health Muskegon and University of Michigan Health - West, with the goal to create the highest quality, innovative, comprehensive cardiovascular care for the people of West Michigan.

• Position Type: Full-Time (1.0 FTE)
  • Potential for .2 FTE dedicated to Medical Director duties
• Schedule: 5 patients per day in clinic
• Location: Grand Rapids, MI
• Specialty: Advanced Heart Failure Cardiology
• Provider Team Size: 11 Providers
• Teaching Opportunities: Yes - Residents, Medical Students
• Call Requirements: 1:5 call schedule, may be less as we grow and add additional providers

This Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist will establish a new service line, strengthen our Heart Failure program, and retain high-value cardiovascular care within the system.
