Job summary

Essentia Health in Duluth, MN seeks an Otolaryngologist–Head & Neck Surgeon to provide comprehensive patient care within a well-established department. You will join two full-time physicians, share 1:3 weekday and 1:6 weekend call, and collaborate with a dedicated team including two PAs.

Opportunities include teaching medical students and residents, research, and access to DaVinci XI robotics across two sites. Flexible 4.5-day week and hospital integration enhance clinical practice.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Otolaryngology.
• Fellowship training in Head & Neck Surgery.

Practice Specifics:

• Provide high-quality comprehensive otolaryngology/head & neck cancer patient care
• Currently 2 full-time Otolaryngology physicians in the department
• 1:3 weekday call; 1:6 weekend call. Weekend call is shared with another group in the community.
• Practice supported by 2 Physician Assistants who do consults, patient visits, follow-up, and surgical assistance
• Collaboration with multi-specialty teams
• Integrated Audiology department offering a broad range of services
• Admit to two hospitals located on campus and connected by enclosed skywalk system
• Essentia Health Duluth Medical Center - 175-bed specialized care facility
• St. Mary’s Medical Center – Brand new, state of the art facility
• Children’s hospital designation at St. Mary’s Medical Center
• Opportunity for teaching Medical Students and Family Practice Residents

Compensation:
