Job summary

Essentia Health in Duluth, MN seeks a BC/BE Otolaryngology physician to join a well-established Head & Neck Surgery team. This full-time position offers collaboration with two PAs, access to DaVinci XI robots, and two campus hospitals with dedicated OR time.

You will provide comprehensive ENT care, engage in teaching opportunities, and participate in clinical research. The department currently includes two full-time ENT physicians and supports a flexible 4.5-day workweek with strong community

• Fellowship trained Head & Neck Surgery.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality comprehensive otolaryngology/head & neck cancer patient care.
• Walk into an established practice with a large patient base; expected to be busy from day one.
• Collaborate with two Physician Assistants and multi-specialty teams for patient visits and surgical support.
• Operate with DaVinci XI Robots across two hospital sites with dedicated OR block time.

Practice Specifics:

• Provide high-quality comprehensive otolaryngology/head & neck cancer patient care
• Currently 2 full-time Otolaryngology physicians in the department
• 1:3 weekday call; 1:6 weekend call. Weekend call is shared with another group in the community.
• Practice supported by 2 Physician Assistants who do consults, patient visits, follow-up, and surgical assistance
• Collaboration with multi-specialty teams
• Integrated Audiology department offering a broad range of services
• Admit to two hospitals located on campus and connected by enclosed skywalk system
• Essentia Health Duluth Medical Center - 175-bed specialized care facility
• St. Mary’s Medical Center – Brand new, state of the art facility
• Children’s hospital designation at St. Mary’s Medical Center
• Opportunity for teaching Medical Students and Family Practice Residents

Compensation:
