Corewell Health in Grand Rapids is seeking a Gynecologic Oncologist to enhance our Cancer Care Service Line. You will work with a team of providers at the largest cancer center in West Michigan, focusing on the treatment of complex cancers tailored to individual patients.

The role offers an academic appointment at Michigan State University and involves surgeries performed at Butterworth Hospital, right across the street from the Cancer Center. Desired applicants must be Board Eligible or Board Certified.

Qualifications

• Required Doctorate.
• LIC-Physician (MD) – State of Michigan, required upon hire.
• LIC-Osteopathic Physician (DO) – State of Michigan, required upon hire.
• CRT-DEA Registration – State of Michigan, required upon hire.
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA, 120 days required.
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) – ARC, 120 days required.
• CRT-Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – AHA, if required by specialty or stress test performed, 120 days required.

Overview

The Cancer Care Service Line at Corewell Health, a non‑profit organization, is seeking a Gynecologic Oncologist to join our growing team of employed providers. Our Cancer Center collaborates with Corewell’s network of hospitals, Corewell West Michigan and community providers. We specialize in treating the most complex types of cancers and design each treatment plan to be unique to the patient.

Based in Grand Rapids, you will work in the largest and busiest comprehensive cancer center in West Michigan. The setting includes tumor boards, conferences, resident physicians, and a robust multidisciplinary team. Surgeries are performed at Butterworth Hospital, directly across the street from the Cancer Center and connected by a sky walk.

Corewell Health requires Board Eligible / Board Certified physicians. An academic appointment at Michigan State University is available commensurate with experience.
