Banner University Medical Group in Tucson, AZ seeks a BC/BE Geriatrician to join a growing outpatient geriatrics program. This full-time role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with equal call rotation and a faculty appointment with the University of Arizona Department of Medicine.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine.
• Arizona medical licensure eligibility is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient care for geriatric patients across the greater Tucson area.
• Diagnose and manage frailty, cognitive impairment, and complex aging-related conditions.

Banner University Medical Group (BUMG) and the University of Arizona Department of Medicine are looking for a BC/BE Geriatrician to join a growing geriatrics program in Tucson, Arizona. This is a full-time clinical position focused on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to geriatric patients across the greater Tucson metropolitan area and Southern Arizona. You will be joining a collaborative, interdisciplinary team passionate about geriatric medicine and healthy aging supporting the mission of the nationally recognized Banner Alzheimer's Institute, with a shared commitment to bring care closer to where patients live and reduce barriers related to transportation and mobility.

Practice Highlights

• Full-time, outpatient position
• Monday through Friday schedule
• Equal rotation of practice call
• Faculty appointment with the University of Arizona Department of Medicine, commensurate with experience and credentials
• Physician trainee precepting opportunities for qualified candidates

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient care for geriatric patients, including those with frailty, cognitive impairment, and complex medical needs
• Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic conditions common in the aging population
• Partner with interdisciplinary teams to build individualized care plans focused on quality of life and functional status
• Collaborate with colleagues across geriatrics specialties
• Contribute to program growth and community access initiatives

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine
