Description:We are seeking a locum tenens physician specialized in Family Medicine with a focus on Geriatric Medicine.The majority of the patient population consists of adults over the age of 55.This position involves outpatient coverage with a clinic schedule, Monday through Friday.We are open to considering candidates who can work three to four days a week.The provider will be required to complete a minimum of two weeks per month.There will be no call responsibilities associated with this position.Providers will see approximately 4 to 6 patient encounters per shift.Patient management is conducted primarily through an electronic medical record system.This role involves both in-clinic and community patient visits, including home visits.When conducting off-site visits, the physician will typically be accompanied by a nurse.The medical team includes an interdisciplinary group of professionals.Most patient interactions will be managed through electronic communication and coordination within the team.Candidates must have a current CV available for submission.Board certification is required.Skills required include basic life support (BLS).No additional certifications such as ACLS or PALS are required for this role.
