Job summary

CompHealth is assisting a Norfolk, VA area practice in recruiting for an outpatient physician role. The position features a Monday–Friday schedule, 7:30 am–5 pm, with no weekend clinic hours and phone-only call shared among the group to support work-life balance.

Established panel of 400–450 patients, about 20 seen daily, with on-site ultrasound, Echo, EKG, spirometry and more. Board-certified IM, family practice, or geriatric medicine physicians are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Outpatient-only position with no hospital rounding.
• Board-certified physicians in IM, family medicine or geriatric medicine encouraged to apply.
• Established patient panel of 400-450 patients with ~20 seen daily.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient medical care without hospital rounds.
• Utilize on-site diagnostics and refer for further testing as needed.
• Collaborate with a supportive group for patient management and care plans.
