Job summary

CompHealth in Virginia Beach seeks an outpatient-focused physician to join a group practice. The role supports board-certified candidates in Internal Medicine, Family Practice, or Geriatrics, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:30 am to 5 pm and no weekend clinic hours.

Expect a patient panel of 400–450 patients and about 20 per day. The on-site facility offers digital X-ray, ultrasound, stress tests, Doppler, Echo, EKG, spirometry, and blood work.

Qualifications

• Board-certified physicians in Internal Medicine, Family Practice, or Geriatrics are encouraged to apply.
• Outpatient-only position with a panel of 400–450 patients.
• Mon–Fri schedule with no weekend clinic hours.
• Phone-only call shared among the group for work-life balance.
• On-site imaging and diagnostic capabilities (X-ray, ultrasound, EKG, Spirometry, blood work, etc.).

You will enjoy living in Virginia Beach, a resort city with miles of beaches and hundreds of hotels and eateries along its oceanfront. It is home to several state parks, several long-protected beach areas, three military bases, a number of large corporations, two universities, international headquarters, and the site of television broadcast studios.

• Monday - Friday schedule, 7:30 am - 5 pm with no weekend clinic hours
• Phone-only call shared among the group for excellent work-life balance
• Outpatient-only position with a panel of 400 - 450 patients
• No residents; focus entirely on direct patient care
• Patient census of 20 patients per day
