Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatrist to join our Behavioral Health team in Sycamore, IL. This role focuses on providing high-quality outpatient psychiatric care to an adult patient population in a collaborative, team-based environment.

This is a full-time position with 36 patient-facing hours per week, Monday through Friday, offering a mix of in-person and telehealth clinic days and Epic EMR usage.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
• Eligible for Illinois medical licensure.
• Commitment to patient-centered care and collaborative practice.

Responsibilities

• Conduct new psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits for adult patients.
• Develop and manage treatment plans, including medication management.
• Full-time, 36 patient-facing hours per week.
• Monday-Friday clinic schedule with a combination of in-person and telehealth clinic days.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
