Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions

• Clinical practice of medicine, surgery, or dentistry, including:
  • The care of patients in outpatient or inpatient settings or both.
  • The documentation of clinical care.
  • The documentation and tasks necessary for billing and other administrative functions.
  • Continuing Medical Education required to maintain licensure and Board Certification.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies with all WellStar Health System policies, standards of work, and code of conduct.

Minimum Education Requirements

An MD, DO, DMD, or DDS degree is required. Applicants must be licensed or eligible for licensure in Georgia and have completed the necessary residency training for their specialty, with certification or eligibility for certification by their respective specialty board.
