We seek a board-certified/eligible gastroenterologist who is motivated, independent, and willing to help start a new practice. H-1B eligibility is available. Join our GI practice at Austell and Douglasville, with a team comprising 3 physicians and 2 advanced practitioners. The practice includes call, inpatient rounding, procedures, and outpatient clinics, supported by a strong referral base within a multi-specialty group of 600 physicians.

Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical gastroenterology care in outpatient and inpatient settings
  • Document clinical care and administrative tasks for billing
  • Maintain licensure and board certification through CME
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Adhere to WellStar policies and standards
Qualifications
  • MD or DO degree; licensed or eligible for licensure in Georgia
  • Completed residency training; board certified or eligible
  • Previous practice experience preferred; residency training required
  • Competency in clinical skills relevant to the specialty
