Banner University Medical Center Phoenix is seeking a transplant hepatologist to join its Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology. The role involves care of patients with end-stage liver disease, transplantation perioperative management, and active participation in research and teaching within a large urban academic medical center.
The position offers inpatient/outpatient duties, a 1:5 call rotation, and access to advanced imaging and a robust clinical trial program.
In partnership with the University of Arizona, the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Banner University Medical Center Phoenix is hiring for an ABIM board certified/eligible Transplant Hepatologist to join our program in the sunny desert metropolis. This is an excellent career opportunity for a Hepatologist with training and experience in managing all aspects of liver disease to take the next career step in academic medicine. This role will be providing transplant care to patients with end stage liver disease, focusing on all phases of pre- and post-transplant care in addition to managing a busy Advanced Liver Disease practice. The Hepatologists work with a dynamic multidisciplinary team and are directly involved in selection committee, quality assurance initiatives, education and research in this growing program.
