The University of Arizona-Tucson/Banner University Medicine invites applications to serve as Faculty of Transplant Hepatology. This is a prestigious opportunity to help build and shape the future of a rapidly expanding and academically vibrant abdominal transplant program at a nationally recognized academic medical center.

Responsibilities and opportunities

Faculty of Transplant Hepatology will engage in a growing team of hepatologists committed to clinical excellence, academic collaboration, and innovation in liver disease management and transplantation. Faculty will be eligible for leadership opportunities commensurate with goals and experience, working in close partnership with renowned transplant surgeons, transplant anesthesiologists, intensivists, and the wider multidisciplinary team.

This is a transformative moment in Tucson's transplant landscape. The University of Arizona is advancing into robotic organ transplantation, launching a living donor liver transplant program, and initiating auto-islet transplantation, placing our program at the cutting edge of modern liver care.

In addition to clinical responsibilities and leadership opportunities, faculty will have the opportunity to engage in a wide range of academic research and mentorship activities, supported by two world-class institutions:
