Description:Support staff includes a solo MD with no advanced practice provider support.Coverage type is call only.Schedule details include working approximately one weekend every five weeks.Practice setting is in a hospital environment (call).EMR/charting software used is EPIC.The average daily census includes adult patients.Procedures performed include upper and lower endoscopies, colonoscopies, and bread-and-butter GI procedures.EUS and ERCP experience is preferred.The locum will be responsible for rounding.The hospitalist takes the first call.The client is currently experiencing a high volume of calls and patient census.The locum will handle calls from patients, the emergency department, or hospitalists.There is potential for the locum to cover seven-day stretches in the future.Name and NPI number are required for credentialing.Travel arrangements may include hotel accommodations, rental cars, or mileage reimbursement based on IRS rates.Credentialing timeframe is approximately 90 days.Client is responsible for application fees and ensuring compliance with qualifications and privileging requirements.Client will cover all costs associated with credentialing and privileging.
