Description:There is a need for Gastroenterology coverage.Board certification is required.Call will be for 24 hours each day.Weekend coverage is mandatory.Candidates must be able to cover GI emergencies, including ERCP procedures as necessary.There is a requirement for expanded locum coverage.Two Gastroenterologists will be needed each week, with at least one performing advanced procedures.The locum who can perform advanced procedures will also cover weeknight call.Weekend call remains the same.The facility is currently seeking other providers to join the call panel.All locum providers should utilize appropriate judgment regarding resource utilization.Coverage will be exclusively for General GIs.The facility has a supportive staff, including an NP to assist.Complete endoscopic request orders as necessary for consults.Appropriate communication with nursing staff is required for additional procedures.Weekends will require coverage from Friday evening to Monday morning.
