Job Title: Physician, Gastroenterology

Location: Lankenau Medical Center, Main Line Health, PA

Job Summary: Main Line Health is seeking skilled and dedicated Gastroenterologists to join our healthcare team. The Gastroenterologist will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of gastrointestinal disorders, providing high-quality patient care, and collaborating with other specialists to ensure comprehensive treatment plans. We are growing our GI team to meet the needs of the communities around us.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and treat gastrointestinal disorders and diseases.
  • Perform endoscopic procedures such as colonoscopies, upper endoscopies, and sigmoidoscopies.
  • Evaluate patients' health status by interpreting medical history and diagnostic test results.
  • Consult with patients to explain diagnoses, discuss treatment options, and answer any queries.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including surgeons, radiologists, and oncologists, to manage patient care.
  • Document and maintain accurate patient records, treatment plans, and progress reports.

Qualifications:

  • Board certification in Gastroenterology.
  • Proficient in endoscopic procedures.
  • Excellent patient management skills.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Current and valid medical license.
