Job summary

Qualifications

• RHIA, RHIT, CPC or CCS-P certification required.
• 1–3 years CPT/HCPCS physician coding experience.
• Experience with ICD-9/ICD-10, CPT and HCPCS guidelines.
• Proficiency in data entry and accessing EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Code and abstract physician services for hospital settings.
• Maintain 95% coding accuracy per QA.
• Enter data into specialty databases.
• Educate medical staff on coding/compliance.
