We are seeking a Family Practice Physician for a meaningful locum tenens assignment focused on medical education and resident training in North Carolina. This role is perfectly suited for a physician passionate about teaching and mentoring emerging medical professionals. The physician will lead and oversee first to third-year residents, ensuring high standards of medical knowledge and professionalism are met. This opportunity allows the physician to be deeply involved in the development of future healthcare providers.

Job Details

• LOA: 120 days
• Provider Type Needed: Family Practice Physician
• Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Responsibilities and Duties

• Direct and supervise 6-8 residents daily in a clinical setting
• Conduct weekly faculty meetings to discuss resident performance and clinic operations
• Complete monthly evaluations of residents, focusing on their medical knowledge and professionalism
• Precept and teach not only residents but also medical students
• Maintain a collaborative and educational environment, fostering both learning and professional care delivery

Additional Information

• Required to hold a board certification in Family Medicine
• Must possess Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Valid North Carolina medical license is mandatory
