Job summary

Essentia Health in Superior, WI is seeking a family physician leader for a newer clinic attached to St. Mary's Hospital-Superior. OB is optional, with a ZERO Call model to support work-life balance. You will join a low-maintenance, highly relational team and collaborate with many on-site specialty services.

Qualifications

• BC/BE Family Medicine certification required.

• Experience leading a patient-centered, multi-specialty clinic.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered primary care within a multi-specialty group.
• Collaborate with FP, IM, NP/PA and other specialists onsite.
• Support work-life balance with the ZERO Call model.
• Lead clinic operations and participate in quality initiatives.
• Coordinate care with hospital and ED teams at St. Mary's Superior.

• Our ideal candidate would be an easy going, patient-centered, physician leader that enjoys working with an existing, low-maintenance, highly relational team.
• OB for this position is optional
• Newer clinic with state-of-the-art technology, attached to St. Mary's Hospital-Superior
• ZERO Call! In an effort to maintain work-life balance for our providers, Essentia has implemented a ZERO Call model. All after hours call (not including OB, hospital and SUD/MOUD call) is covered by a separate call team.
• Multi-specialty group that consists of FP, IM and NP/PA’s
• Full time PharmD available for medication therapy management
• Onsite Behavioral Health and Adult Partial Hospitalization Program
• Many outreach specialists including Ophthalmology, ENT, Audiology, OBGYN, Diabetes, Nephrology, Rheumatology, Pulmonology, Pain Management, Orthopedic Med, Podiatry, Cardiology, Tobacco Cessation, Gastroenterology, Urology, Neurology, Pediatrics, and Dermatology all on-site as well as others available at the main campus in Duluth
• EPIC (electronic medical records) in clinic and hospital
• Admit to St. Mary's Hospital-Superior, a 25-bed CAH facility with transitional care services. ER physicians staff the ED, along with a PA who staffs the Fast Track ER. Transfers complex cases to St. Mary's Medical Center, 330 bed facility (7 miles from clinic) with Level 1 Trauma designation
• Urgent Care – staffed 7 days a week with NP/PA providers
• Physician led, professionally managed organization with great team environment

Compensation

• $329,000. Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, quality incentives or production-based compensation.
