Summary
This position is located at one of the various Indian Health Service Hospitals or Clinics under the Navajo Area Office. The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a technical expert within the specialty area of Family Practice, providing diagnosis, care, and treatment of patients of all ages.

Conditions of Employment
Your resume must demonstrate experience and/or education relevant to the duties of this position. Experience includes paid, unpaid, volunteer, and part-time work. Clearly specify duties and hours worked per week.

Degree: MD, DO, or equivalent from an accredited U.S. or Canadian school.
Foreign Medical Degree: Must demonstrate education and knowledge equivalent to U.S. standards, with certification by ECFMG or equivalent.
Licensure: Must hold a current, active, unrestricted medical license.
Graduate Training: At least 1 year of supervised clinical experience post-degree, including internship or residency, accredited by recognized bodies.
For GS-15, 5 years of graduate training or equivalent experience in Family Medicine/Practice.
Applicants completing training within 9 months of applying may submit a letter confirming expected completion date.
