Job Description
Family Medicine Core Privileges include the ability to perform history and physical examinations, admit (if applicable to the setting), evaluate, diagnose, treat, and provide consultation to patients of all ages with a wide variety of illnesses, diseases, injuries, mental health conditions, and functional disorders across multiple systems. This includes pre-operative care of surgical patients, post-operative medical care, and return-to-work issues.
Qualifications
MD or DO degree.
Experience should be demonstrated via residency procedure logs, completed rotations, or recent clinical activity including case logs with specific procedural and patient care requirements as detailed in the original description. Completion of an ACGME or equivalent residency program, and board certification or eligibility, are required. Applicants within five years of residency completion must achieve board certification within five years unless waived.
Compensation
Sanford Health offers a competitive compensation package including health, dental, vision insurance, 401K, disability, life insurance, CME allowance, paid time off, malpractice insurance, tail coverage, and relocation assistance. The annual base salary range (for 1.0 FTE) is $265,175 - $343,168, with potential for additional earnings based on productivity. Incentives may also be offered. Compensation varies based on experience, education, and scope of practice.
