Practice Details

Sanford Health is seeking a BE/BC Family Medicine Physician to join our team in Bagley, Minnesota.

• Join a team of two physicians and three APPs
• Traditional practice (outpatient and inpatient)
• Call is 1:3 - hospital inpatients (mainly phone calls)
• Clinic is nearby to Sanford Bagley Medical Center, a 25 bed critical access hospital
• Average hospital inpatient census - 6
• Annual ER volume - 3,200
• Remote support includes social worker, IHT, and RN case manager
• On-site services include: EKG, X-ray, CT, PT/OT, cardiac rehab, chiropractic, laboratory, stress tests, eye service, IV infusion, psych
• Outreach from Bemidji includes sleep, bariatrics, dermatology, mobile mammography, MRI, OB

Job Description

The Family Medicine Core Privileges include conducting history and physical examinations, admitting patients (if applicable), evaluating, diagnosing, treating, and consulting on patients of all ages with various illnesses, injuries, and conditions affecting multiple systems. Responsibilities also include pre-operative and post-operative care of surgical patients and return-to-work assessments.

Qualifications

MD or DO degree required.

Experience can be demonstrated by:

1. For new residents: providing residency procedure logs and rotation lists.
2. For experienced practitioners: providing a quality profile from current privileges showing clinical activity over the last 12 months, including procedures performed, morbidity, mortality, infection rates, and complications.

Applicants must demonstrate active involvement in family medicine, including case logs with at least 25 vaginal deliveries, 50 adult medical patients, and 10 inpatient pediatric cases in the past year.

Completion of an ACGME-accredited Family Medicine residency is required. Certification by the American Board of Medical Specialties or equivalent is preferred. Recent graduates must achieve board certification within five years of residency completion unless waived.

Compensation

Sanford Health offers a competitive compensation package including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401K, disability, life insurance, CME allowance, time off, malpractice insurance with tail coverage, and relocation assistance.

Base salary ranges from $265,175 to $343,168 annually, with potential for additional earnings based on wRVUs. Incentives may also be available. Compensation varies based on education, experience, and other factors.
