Capital Health Neurosciences is seeking a Neurologist with Epilepsy specialization to examine and treat patients with neurological disorders, focusing on epilepsy and seizure management.

The role includes EEG interpretation, EMU leadership, collaboration with neurosurgery and radiology, and education of trainees. Licensure in NJ/PA, board certification in Neurology, and 3+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• MD/DO required and board-certified/eligible in Neurology.
• Active NJ and PA medical licenses.
• BC/BE in Neurology with fellowship in Epilepsy (ACGNE).
• Minimum 3+ years of neurology residency training.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care for patients with epilepsy and seizure disorders.
• Interpret EEGs including routine, ambulatory, and long-term video EEG monitoring.
• Participate in and help lead the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU).
• Collaborate with neurosurgeons, radiologists and other specialists in surgical epilepsy evaluations.
• Prescribe and manage anti-epileptic medications.
• Participate in multidisciplinary case reviews and clinical research when applicable.
• Educate medical students, residents, and fellows if academic center.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care.

Capital Health Neurosciences is seeking a Neurologist with Epilepsy specialization who will be responsible for examining and treating patients who experience disorders, illnesses and injuries that affect the nerves, spinal cord and brain. Their duties include conducting physical examinations, collecting spinal fluid or other samples and running neurological tests to identify problems.
