Endocrinologist – 1.0 FTE (Duluth, MN)

We are seeking a patient‑centered Endocrinologist to join a multidisciplinary team of 5 physicians, 5 NP/PAs, and 18 additional staff in Duluth, MN. The role focuses on outpatient endocrine care with a patient volume of 10‑12 patients per day.

Practice Specifications

• Inpatient diabetes coverage as required, limited to office business hours and triaged through the RN team.
• NP/PA team handles hospital glucose management.
• No evening, weekend, or holiday call.
• Some outreach activities are possible.
• Must be comfortable applying and analyzing modern diabetes devices such as pumps, sensors, and meters.

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology, or Board Certified/Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with a strong interest in diabetes care.
• Experience or willingness to work within an outpatient setting Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
• Ability to collaborate with NP/PA and RN teams for inpatient coverage.
• Strong patient‑centered communication skills.

Location

Duluth, Minnesota—located on the westernmost tip of Lake Superior, 150 miles north of the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area. Population: 125,000 with a regional service area of 460,000.

Compensation

$309,000 for Board Certified/Eligible Endocrinologist. Eligible for additional bonuses, quality incentives, or production‑based compensation.
