Matrix Providers is hiring a Physician- Emergency Medicine to join our team serving Military Service Members and their families at Naval Hospital Twentynine Palms, CA. This PRN- Independent Contractor role pays $220.00-226.51/hr with a schedule of 13-hour shifts seven days a week, including two uncompensated 30-minute meal breaks.

Qualifications include MD/DO (US/Canada) with ABEM/AOBEM, ACLS, PALS, and a minimum of two years EM practice in the last three years, residency in EM, Level 1 Trauma

Job description

Matrix Providers is hiring a Physician- Emergency Medicine to join our team of talented professionals who provide health care services to our Military Service Members and their families in at Naval Hospital Twentynine Palms, CA.

• Employment Status: PRN- Independent Contractor
• Compensation: This is an hourly position, paid bi-weekly.$220.00-226.51/hr
• Schedule: Monday through Sunday for a 13-hour shift (which includes two uncompensated 30-minute meal breaks) between the hours of 0000 to 2359.

The Physician- Emergency Medicine must have and meet the following:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) Graduate from an accredited medical school in the United States or Canada. This degree must have been accredited by the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) or the American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine (AOBEM)
• Certifications in addition to Basic Life Support: Maintain certification in Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and in Pediatric Advance Life Support (PALS).
• Minimum of two years of experience as a practicing Emergency Medicine Physician in the last three (3) years. Must have residency training and completion of a three (3) year Emergency Medicine program accredited by the American College Graduate Medical Education.
• The physician should have two (2) years of experience of full-time work in the American College of Surgeons accredited Level 1 Trauma Center, Two (2) years of teaching and clinical emergency medicine experience post-residency, encompassing all aspects of academic emergency medicine. This includes the education of residents and interns. The physician must have proven academic potential as demonstrated by teaching publications and specialty society membership.
• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine from the ABEM or the American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Physicians.
• Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice medicine.
