Job summary

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health in Seattle seeks an Emergency Medicine Physician to join our collegial, experienced team. You will diagnose and treat a wide range of emergency cases while delivering compassionate, evidence-based care in a busy urban ED.

This 1.0 FTE position offers about 1600 clinical hours annually with day, evening and night shifts, serving roughly 23,000 annual ED visits. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary group in a highly supportive environment.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Emergency Medicine Residency training completed.
• Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine.
• Active or eligible license in Washington.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Emergency Medicine Physician, you will join our collegial and experienced healthcare team in Seattle, specializing in diagnosing and treating a wide array of Emergency Medicine cases, making a significant impact on their lives and families. We pride ourselves in practicing high quality, evidence based, and patient centered medicine.

You will provide compassionate and expert care, conducting thorough assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support the holistic well-being of our patients and their families within Franciscan Medical Group.

To be successful in this role, you will be clinically strong, collaborative, and interested in becoming a long-term member of the department. Job Requirements

Required

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
• Emergency Medicine Residency training
• Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine
• Active or eligible license in the state of WashingtonExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

$375,000 - $395,000 /year
