Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks an Emergency Medicine Physician to deliver urgent and emergency care within licensed scope. You will perform rapid examinations, order diagnostics, manage acute treatment plans, and coordinate care with the healthcare team.

You will also educate patients and families on emergency conditions and treatment options during the ED stay, while ensuring compliance with licensure and local regulations.

Qualifications

• Graduation for an accredited medical school as an MD or DO.
• Licensed as an Emergency Medicine Physician by the state in which the provider is practicing.
• Board Certification in Emergency Medicine is preferred unless required by contract.
• One year of experience in emergency medicine preferred.
• Three years of experience in the emergency medicine field preferred.
• Role may require collaboration with advanced practitioners per state/facility requirements.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• Current Health certificate per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Job description

• Licensed as an Emergency Medicine Physician by the state inwhich the provider is practicing.
• Board Certification in Emergency Medicine by a nationallyaccredited medical organization (e.g., American Board of Emergency Medicine -ABEM) is preferred unless required by contract.
• Specialty Certification as per client request and/or stateregulations if applicable.
• One year of experience as an Emergency Medicine Physicianpreferred.
• Three years of experience in the emergency medicine fieldpreferred.
• Role may require collaboration with advanced practitionersper state/facility requirements.
