Description:We are seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians to fill locum needs.The schedule includes open shift coverage with 9 and 12-hour shifts.There are no on-call responsibilities associated with this position.Inpatient responsibilities are not required.The emergency department averages 77 patients per day.The facility has a trauma level 3 designation with 250 beds.There are approximately 33,000 annual visits.The busiest shifts occur between 11 AM and 11 PM.Transfer out rates are less than 3%.There is an average of 15 open shifts per month, filled on a first-come, first-served basis.Candidates will be required to cover a significant number of these shifts.Physician coverage includes both day and night hours.The position involves supervision of advanced practice providers.A teaching opportunity is available at a teaching hospital.Clean backgrounds are required for all candidates.Board certification in emergency medicine is mandatory.
