Job summary

AMN Healthcare seeks an Emergency Medicine physician for locum tenens support in Missouri. Start ASAP with shifts across day and night hours; EMR is Meditech. Eligible candidates will have EM experience and certifications (BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS).

Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with EM experience are considered. Malpractice insurance is arranged, and travel arrangements are handled. The assignment involves a high-volume ED (~30,000 annual) with varied shift times and rapid patient turnover.

Qualifications

• EM physician with current certifications (BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS).
• Will consider Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with Emergency Medicine experience.
• Experience working in an ED or urgent care setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide locum tenens Emergency Medicine coverage.
• Manage ED operations and patient care during assigned shifts.
• Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure quality patient care.

• Annual volume: 30,000
• Physician shift times: 7a-5p, 1p-11p, 9p-7a or 7p-7a, 7a-7p
• Electronic Medical Record: Meditech
• Certifications required: Will consider Family Medicine or Internal Medicine trained with Emergency Medicine experience, must have Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
